SCHOOL BOOK RENTAL SCHEME 2011

Dear Parents/Guardians

The school in conjunction with the Parents Association are introducing Full Book Rental Scheme in September 2011. The cost of the rental scheme for each class is as set out below together with the parent rep for each class if you have any queries:

All Books and Workbooks will be issued through the Rental scheme and will be covered. Copies and other stationary will need to be purchased. A list of copies & stationary will be given to each child before the term ends. All books will be in the classrooms for distribution in September. A number of the books on the booklists have changed for the coming school year, in particular the Irish and the History, Geography & Science textbooks. In order to facilitate this scheme we need commitment from Parents. The cut-off point will be June 24th. We will need all envelopes back on 8th June – with either the deposit or full payment as outlined below - as orders have to be placed with publishers to have the books on time. We are suggesting 2 methods of payment:

1. Deposit of €25 payable by 8th June and the balance payable by 24th June.

or

2. Full payment of the appropriate class rental payment by 8th June.

Please Read Carefully

  • All Text Books under the scheme will remain at all times the property of the school.
  • Books supplied under the scheme maybe new or second hand at the discretion of the Principal.
  • Books will be issued with a number as this will be identifiable to the person who will receive the book.
  • If books are lost or damaged, full compensation for lost/damaged books will be required before readmission to the scheme.
